JPC NEEDED FOR MULTI CRORE RAFALE SCAM.
The repeated justification and clarification of Finance Minister and Defence Minister regarding the Rafale deal are not enough to conceal the irregularity, corruption and nepotism involved in the entire procedure of the deal.
The government is unable to explain how the Reliance Defence Ltd got this multi crore deal that has no previous experience in making planes and jets. The revelation of former President of France Francois Hollande that the government of India suggested Ambani led Reliance Defence Ltd as the Indian partner for the agreement with Dassault Aviation of France, proves the role of Prime Minister in this scam. The silence of Narendra Modi on this issue strengthens the doubt.
The Rafale Deal is a best example about how the crony capitalism is growing in India and influencing the decisions of the government. The difference in cost of planes, the new agreement for only 36 planes instead of 126, the selection of Reliance Defence Ltd and ignoring the HAL, the negation of Defence Procurement Policy etc are proves that the Narendra Modi government has totally surrendered before the capitalists who helped the BJP to capture the power. The Rafale Deal is once again reveals the hollow claims of Modi government about corruption free governance. The AIFB demands that this entire deal must be enquired by a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) and the Reliance Defence Ltd must be ousted from the agreement.
POLICE ATTACK ON FARMERS IS DEPLORABLE.
The All India Forward Bloc strongly condemns the barbaric attack of Delhi and UP police on the agitating farmers at Ghaziabad, the border of Delhi yesterday. It once again proves the anti farmer attitude of the Modi government. The government is not ready to address the issues being raised by the farmers across the country. Instead of resolving the concerns of the farmers, the government is confronting them with military and police might. It is against the democratic traditions of our country. The All India Forward Bloc extends solidarity with the struggling farmers and urges upon the government to adopt democratic measures to resolve the issues of the farmers and to fulfill its election promises in this regard.
