The Govt. is Misleading the Nation on Netaji Issue.

Press Release Programme

The Union government led by BJP is misleading the nation on the issue of the mysterious disappearance of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. In a reply to a RTI question asked by Mr. Sayak Sen, the Government of India said that Netaji died in the Plane Crash on 18th August 1945. The All India Forward Bloc strongly condemns the reply and the attitude of Union Government and would like to know from the BJP leaders about their opinion on this reply of the government.

The last Judicial Commission headed by Justice M.K. Mukherjee, Rtd. Supreme Court Judge, emphatically proved with documentary evidences that Netaji didn’t die in the alleged plane crash on 18th August 1945. The Commission had communication with the government of Taiwan and possessed an official letter from the Taiwan government, which categorically stated that there was no plane crash occurred on this date and there is no evidence about any plane crash occurred in the Taihuku Airport about one week before and after this particular date of 18th August 1945. On the basis of this document, other circumstantial evidences and the revelations of people from different strata including INA, the Commission concluded the report that Netaji didn’t die in the so called plane crash. It was also suggested by the commission, further enquiry needed for unearthing the mystery behind the disappearance of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the revolutionary hero of India.

If it is the fact from the last enquiry commission on Netaji, how the government can say that Netaji died in the plane crash of 1945?

It is nothing but another attempt to divert the people’s attention from the failure of the government on many counts by creating controversies intentionally. The All India Forward Bloc will organize public protests across the country against this attitude of the Government.
